Latrice passed away in 2006 from Diabetes. She will always be remembered for her upbeat attitude and positive outlook on life. She will truly be missed.
Please post any comments or memories about Latrice.
I remember my 9th grade year when I transferred from Cleveland Heights to Collinwood. Latrice gave me this big ol' hug because she remembered me from 2nd grade when we were at Iowa Maple Elementary. I'm sad to hear of her passing away (I didn't know). She will truly be missed. -Sincerely Khamisi
Trice and I grew up together and I miss her so much. She was a great friend and could always make me laugh. She was goofy as hell and that's what made me love her.
Me and Trice rarely spoke during high school but after graduation we became the best of friends. Even though I miss Trice I'm glad that she can finally rest. I saw what she went through on a daily basis just to get by and I love the fact that she smiled up to the end. Trice was and still is my hero she treated my daughter and so many other children as her own. She never missed a birthday or holiday and my baby still dances around the house doing the dances that her Auntie Trice taught her. So Trice lives on not only in my heart but in the hearts of all those she touched. Missing You always J.D.
Trice was very nice and seemed quiet to me (i didn't know her well) But i looked through my year book yesterday and all these memories started to flood my mind, i remembered a few coonversations we had and study halls we shared, I was shocked to hear of her passing she was so young. What a beautiful spirit though. R.I.P.
I remember Trice being a very upbeat person with a very positve attitude, she was also a member of my church and sang in our young adult choir. She is truly missed, but she in good hands with our Father in heaven. The thing that I liked about was that no matter what she was going through she still had that positive spirit.
My girl for life. We grew up together from Kindergarten until Graduation-- and so did our parents. Trice was a real friend and I love and miss her dearly. We rode together- whether is was hospital visits or aguing over her meds, I stood by her and she stood by me. I didnt get a chance to say my last goodbye but she knew my heart. We love you!
She was blessed with such energy. While I'm writing this, I'm hoping she remembers me. She spoke with the sincerity of someone from St. Claire, the street.
Did you read her poetry? I noticed she was wise beyond her years. YOU GOT FLOW, LATRICE!
I will always and forever miss my road dog Trecie. Whether it was listening to her beautiful voice sing, or listening to her flow, or listening to her poetry, Tricie always spoke from the heart. She had to be one of the goofiest people that I have ever known, she could always make you laugh no matter what the situation. We have known each other for a long time, and I never regret a single moment of it. I know her mom Vanessa, and her brother 'Juice' is missing her like crazy. I know that she is in a better place now, not worring about taking meds, making hospital trips and stays anymore.
