I remember Floyd being a fun-loving guy with that baby-face, child-like giggle, and unforgettable grin.
I remember Floyd being unstoppable with awesome range in YBA basketball in 6th grade.
I remember Floyd habitually pulling on his t-shirt.
I remember Floyd's awesome overhead slam often bruising opponents on the tennis court.
I remember playing softball with Floyd on several teams (legendary homerun power and temper).
I remember riding in limos with Floyd in Vegas on a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
I remember Floyd's hand shaking when he got nervous.
I remember Floyd being an obnoxious Alabama fan.
I remember no one not liking Floyd.
I remember Floyd being a loyal friend.
I remember losing a good friend.
I remember crying with his mother at his funeral.
I'll never forget Chris Floyd.

I remember Floyd's resounding BOOOOOBIE-D!
I remember his laugh made me laugh.
I remember him always pulling his shirt.
I remember his grin.

Oh My Gosh, I did not know we lost him. I wish I had known. Chris was such a funny guy. He was a pretty awesome tennis player. He did have a great smile and could always make me laugh. I think we went to school together since 4th grade, is that right? I'm sorry that his life was cut so short :(

I think Chris is in practically every memory I have of elementary school. We cried together when Alabama coach Bear Bryant died. I remember when he was learning to play the guitar and brought it in to play for us for show and tell. Wow, that seems so long ago. He was always so much fun to be around. I was so sorry to hear we had lost him, and wish I had been able to be there to tell his family exactly how much we all loved him. Never forgotten.

When I first transfered to Cleveland from Bradley, Chris was one of the nicest people I met. I'll never forget that smirk and how he always had a good time!
