Randy Fletcher - May 12, 2007
Randy Fletcher, age 45, of Clinton, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 12, 2007, after a faithful and courageous battle with cancer.
He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, where he taught the college and career Sunday school class. His hobbies were fishing, golfing, and most of all, laughing. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer Guy Walker, Carl W. Fletcher and Jessie Carr Fletcher.
He is survived by his parents, Doran and Peggy Fletcher of Clinton; twin brother, Roger Fletcher and his wife, Jennifer, of Clinton; special nephew, Alex Fletcher of Clinton; grandmother, Ruth A. Walker of Erwin, Tenn.; aunts, Glenda Tate and her husband, Kenneth, of Church Hill; Karla Kyte and her husband, Larry, of Piney Flatts; uncle, Don Walker and his wife, Jeannie, of Jonesborough, Tenn.; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverview Baptist Church in Clinton with the Rev. Justin Pratt officiating. The graveside service will follow at Anderson Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Riverview Baptist Church Building Fund, 410 Blacksferry Lane, Clinton, TN 37716. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
