Kerry Nichols Marcum, 45, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Methodist Medical Center.
She was born September 10, 1961 in Oak Ridge, the daughter of Johnnie Harwell Nichols and Kay Murphy Nichols, of Oliver Springs. Kerry graduated from Clinton High School and East TN State University with a B.S. degree in Psychology. Mrs. Marcum worked for many years as a Social Worker with the State of Tennessee, a job she was devoted to. She was a compassionate and caring person who was always willing to help others. She was a member of the Oliver Springs United Methodist Church. Mrs. Marcum loved the outdoors, especially going to the beach and boating. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and was a music lover.
