Though Shannon only joined us for our last year at Clovis High, I had the pleaseure of being one becoming one of her best friends that year. She was the type of person who would always give more than she would ever ask for in return...and no matter how sick she really was, she would never let you know, out of not wanting to burden you with her illness. She was one of the most giving loving people that I have ever known. I will always hold a special place in my hers for her and lover her dearly!

Shannon had a way of instantly becoming a friend that you felt you had for a life time. She was always positive no matter what negative health problems she was dealing with. Shannon always wanted to enjoy life and never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her. She was one of the most kind hearted people I will ever have the privelage of knowing and will miss her. I will always remember her obsession of gummy bears!

What were her health problems? I didn't get to know her.

Shannon and I used to always joke around about the first time we met..... We were setting up decorations for a rally, and I threw the football, and it accidently hit her in the nose...... She was a great friend........
