CLUTE -- Dwayne Andrew Creacy, 43, a resident of Clute, passed away Saturday, June 19 in Louisiana. Dwayne was born October 28, 1960 in Wichita Falls to Noah Gene and Kay Creacy.

He moved to Clute with his family in 1962 and graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1979-1980. Dwayne worked as an industrial electrician and was employed with Emerson-ETI for the past 12 years.

He is survived by his companion, Carol Bond; son, Lonnie Creacy of Clute; parents, Noah Gene Creacy of Clute and Kay Creacy of Brazoria; sisters, Karen Creacy and Sharon Creacy; grandmother Rosemary Mullins; brother-in-law, John Dean; nephews, Joshua Boyd, John Dean Jr., Devin Dean and Nathan Dean, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are Friday, June 25 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will begin at 4 p.m. at Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. 

Services were entrusted to Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson.

Dwayne was a sweet, funny guy who would give you the shirt off his back if he knew it would help. We live near Dwayne's Dad and would see Dwayne when he visited. He became a father just a few years before his passing.
He has a son who was approximately 4-5 years old when he died. Many, many people turned out for the funeral which was standing room only. He was a good friend who is sorely missed. God bless you Dwayne.
