Daneka Amy Eastman was born July 1, 1974 in Coeur d'Alene, ID to Terry and Mary (Appelberg) Eastman. Daneka was passionate about life and embraced each day as a gift. Though she was brave and courageous, she sadly lost her battle with cancer November 14, 2008 at home with her family by her side. Her passion, beauty, quick wit and spirit will live forever in her two beautiful daughters, Sierra Fallon, age 12, and Rylin Telisa, 8 months. She will be forever missed.

Daneka graduated from Glen Dow academy in Spokane, WA in 1996 as a professional esthetician. She worked several years in esthetics but found herself needing something more challenging. Daneka followed in her dad's footsteps by pursuing a career in the food and beverage industry. She thrived in the social and quick paced lifestyle in this profession. She worked side by side with her dad at numerous restaurants, including most recently at Sargents Restaurant in Hayden.

Daneka was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa King in 2005, all her grandparents, and her beloved pets, Huckleberry and Tiva. She is survived by her daughters, Sierra and Rylin; her parents, Mary Eastman and Terry and Diane Eastman; her brother, Ty Eastman; a brother-in-law, Bob King; sisters, Tia (Jeff) Vesser, Stacy (Brade) White, and Mallory Cook; godparents, Sergio and Marsha Aquinde; nieces and nephews, Blake Eastman, Anthony, Ryan, Katelyn and Madison King, Teigan and Dylan Lockwood, Anna Brewer, Alexandra Eastman, and Alizabeth White; a great nephew, Ricky Cuellar IV; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Pius Church with burial following at Forest Cemetery. Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene is in care of the arrangements.
