I did 28 years total active and reserve. Infantry officer and subsequently staff pogue. I saw a bit of gunfire on the streets of Ologapo in the PI on libbo "back in the day" when they had martial law (those were some wild west days), and spent a little time here and there. Went to the sand box twice, but nothing much to report from there but lots of sand and heat.
