Steven Dale Sunday, was killed in a car wreck that happened out on Rendering Plant Road - his vehicle hit a concrete bridge (if memory serves me right), late evening, December 16, 1977. He was not only a very good friend, but like a brother to me. One thing I do remember, was that night was one of the only times I actually listened to my mom and got home on time - or I would have been along for the ride and most likely would not have the opportunity to be writing this. I grieve for the boy and for the life he could've had. Rest in peace, little brother! I miss you!
Dale use to walk home with me in middle school, he was so much fun to be around,always laughing and cutting up.I married Dale's cousin Johnny,and now that I'm part of the family I get to hear all the stories about him,and it really makes me happy knowing that the short life he had was filled with love and happiness, I know his family loves him and misses him terribly,they will never forget Dale ever.
