I knew Kay and her sisters well as their mom, Shirley, worked for my parents at the western wear store. I remember going skating with all of them at the rink at Mowhawk Park, attending rodeos, and parties our parents would drag us to on too many occasions.
Unfortunately I didn't learn of her death until some time afterward. Certainly a sad way to go and further proof of my motto's of "everything happens for a reason" and "timing is everything" . . .
