Ray joined the Navy after graduation. After his duty he married Katie Tokarski and lived in Colon. He was last employed with R.F. Fisher Automotive in Colon as an Auto Mechanic. He was also an active volunteer Fireman and loved to go for deep rides in the woods and mountains in his jeep with a group called the "Jeepers Creepers".
