Mary Liz's husband, Ron, posted the following on her Facebook page on September 15, 2015:
"My lovely wife Mary Liz went to heaven at 8:28 this morning,,,she went peacefully with her family around her,,,she got to pass at home like I promised her ,,if anyone would be inclined to do anything it would be instead of flowers or anything else her favorite charity was of course, Garth Brooks Team Mates for Kids,,,thank you for all the love that has been sent our way."
All AAHS alumni who knew Mary Liz remember the warm and friendly person she was.

Ron,
Please accept my condolences on Mary Liz's passing. She was was one of the nicest persons I have ever had the privilage to know. She always brought sunshine into the room and she introduced me to you. I have been praying for her for years and she will remain in my daily prayers as long as I am around.
I am so sorry, but I know she is in a better place waiting for you.
Signed with extreme sadness,
Bill

My recollections of Mary Liz are all positive. Why, even here on this CLASSMATE site she took the time to whish me a happy birthday. My sympathy to her family and friends..May they always retain all their good memories. I know how meaningful these are as I have lost three immediate family members recently.
