Mary Byers died of a blood disease in Denver. She is survived by her husband Steve Warner and 2 sons.

Mary was my best friend. She was the first person I met when I moved to the USAFA. I was her Maid of Honor at her wedding. She was the most fun and bubbly person I have ever known. I was numbed and grief stricken when I called her one day only to find out she had suddenly died from a rare blood disease.
