My brother Bill (Spunky to our family) died in 1999. His good friend Robbie Gatliff donated a kidney in hopes of giving Spunky a chance at a longer life. The new kidney gave Spunky some additional time but ultimately too many complications took his life. I think about Spunky every day. He was a good person and touched many lives in his too short life.
Bill was our valedictorian. Physics was so easy for him! I did not remember too many people, only attending my junior and senior year. Bill was one of about 10 people I felt I knew reasonably well. I missed him at the reunions I attended.
