Timothy Rogers (1969) died recently of cancer in Santa Barbara, CA. He is
survived by: His parents Charlie and Betty Tom (AAHS 67) Pete (AAHS 71) Claire (AAHS 76)
Tim played both hockey and baseball for AAHS and was a member of the concert and marching bands (sax). He loved sports and was named captain of the hockey team and baseball MVP and All-WRL his senior year. I remember him fearlessly facing Rich (soon-to-be Goose) Gossage and actually getting a few hits off the fireballer. Tim never appreciated cold weather so after attending Adams State and serving his country in the Army he settled in Santa Barbara, CA where he lived until he passed at 53 after a year-long struggle with pancreatic cancer. A quiet, gentle soul, a wonderful brother and friend - you will be missed until we meet again in the heavenly kingdom.
