I remember seeing his obituary while home on leave in May of 1970. His name is on the Viet Nam veterans memorial in Pueblo. The memorial has him listed as Christopher M. Hobson. My annual has him listed as Mark.

Richard (Dick) Schaffer (1969)
Mark was a Medic in the Vietnam war and was killed in combat when trying to get to an injured American soldier. He is listed in the Vietnam memorial In Washington DC and I have a pencil sketch of his name from the memorial. Sad to loose him yet proud of his service.
