Columbia, MO resident, Donna Alkire, age 71, passed away suddenly at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia on April 23, 2023.

Donna Sue Alkire was born November 9, 1951 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter to Harvey and Bennie (Jeffries) Alkire. She graduated from Hickman High School with the class of 1969. Donna worked close to 30 years for Schneider Electric Company (formerly Square D) in Columbia. Donna had a passion for animals and loved her pet cats and dogs dearly. She was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Survivors include her mother, and a sister. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Alkire.

Services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette, MO.
