Bradford “Brad” L. Crane, 66, of Fulton went to be with his Savior on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dennis Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Millersburg Cemetery.

Brad was born June 21, 1950, in Columbia to Carl Bradford and Betty Jean Koch Crane, who preceded him in death.

On March 31, 1973, he married Deborah Newman in Columbia, and she survives.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era. He worked as an electrical planner for Ameren Callaway Nuclear Plant before retirement. He also was a member of IBEW Local 257. Brad enjoyed participating in all kinds of sports such as golf, racquetball and fishing. He very much enjoyed hobbies like building and restoring old cars. He was quite the craftsman and built several houses.

After Brad and Debbie were married, they moved to the Millersburg area where they have resided for 43 years. Brad and Debbie enjoyed traveling to many interesting and beautiful places — their favorite being New Zealand. He was a member of the Millersburg Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He truly loved the people there and serving when needed.

He was a loving and caring husband and father and will truly be missed by all his family.

Other survivors include Brad’s daughter, Heather Crane-Pecosky and husband, Mike, of Mount Horeb, Wis.; brother, Larry Crane of St. Louis; and sister, Sarah Schlichter of Moberly.
