CARL EUGENE JACKMAN, 65, of Columbia, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday August 17, 2015 at Mt. Woodland Cemetery in Howard County off Rt. EE. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2015 at NILSON FUNERAL HOME.
Carl was born February 7, 1950 in Fayette, MO., the son of Lenze L. and Nannie M. McKee Jackman and they preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife: Frances B. Jackman September 17, 1999. One son: Ralph Busby. Twin brother and sister: Donald and Shirley. Sister: Christina. Brother: James.
Survivors include: Sons: Edward Busby and Rance Pool. Daughters: Rosie Pool and Fran Poole. Brothers: Clifford Jackman. Sisters: Charlene Smith (husband, Harry) and Lillie Gardner (husband Frank). Uncle: Kenneth McKee of Rocheport, MO. Aunt: Kathleen Wright of Kansas City, MO. Great Uncle: Marion McKee of Detroit, MI. 14 grand and 18 great grandchildren also survive.
Carl enjoyed his career as a truck driver and worked in that capacity from the age of 18 until his retirement.
