Obituary: Betsy Davies

Betsy M. Davies, 48, of Boulder, Colo., died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, in Boulder.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at First Presbyterian Church Chapel in Boulder, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Davies was born Sept. 12, 1951, in Columbia to George Conley Miller and Elizabeth Ann Nye Miller.

She married Scott Davies on April 26, 1986, in Gold Lake, Colo., and he survives.

She graduated from Hickman High School in 1969 and received a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Kansas in 1973. She had lived in Boulder since 1973 and was a teacher at Crest View Elementary School in the Boulder Valley School District. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors also include a son, Christopher Davies of Boulder; a daughter, Sara Davies of Boulder; and two sisters, Cindy Miller Mustard of Columbia and Helen Miller Kallenbach of Occidental, Calif.
