Larger memorial image loading...Owen William Snodgrass of Columbia, Missouri passed away December 29, 2021, at Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital. Owen was born December 30, 1950, to Roger and Opal Snodgrass, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Kris (Fines) Snodgrass (married January 31, 1970), sons David (Angie) and Jason (Jamie), a grandson Codie Snodgrass; a great-grandson Caiden Snodgrass; sister Kathy (Snodgrass) Farris (husband Lloyd) and brother Roger Snodgrass (wife Cheryl); along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and fur babies.

Owen was a veteran of the United States Air Force (1970-1973). He owned and operated Snodgrass Lawncare as well as OK Acres Campground near Mark Twain Lake (Monroe City, Missouri). He will be remembered for his dedication to family, love of classic cars, and the need to stay busy. In between crafting prosthetics for veterans, he loved spending time at his campground with friends and family. There was no favor Owen wouldn't do for a friend or his family. He touched the heart of everyone who knew him, because of his desire to help those he loved.

Larger memorial image loading...Visitation was January 9, 2022, at the American Legion Hall in Columbia, MO. Owen was a "jeans and t-shirt" (and hat) guy , dress for the visitation was comfortable and informal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
