Uncle Boot was in my opinion the most free spirited one of all my uncles. A self-taught man who was truly a jack of all trades. A fighter who stood his ground and left us when he decided to leave and not when the doctors had already given him up.
I remember my baby brother as always looking out for his family. He had no respect of kinship, he would always get on his cell phone and call, saying "this is your baby brother, Doge Isaac,Jr." He was always saying he was going to get his pistol. I miss him dearly, since he and Christine were the only two I could talk to in DC. He would do anything for me from fixing things to giving me food, i.e. cheese from the bags he'd get from his church. When he would call, he'd have his oldies but goodies playing in the background, just like our big brother, "Bubba." Rest on dear brother, I love you, but God loved you best.
