COLUMBIA — A Homegoing Service for Mertyse Chevonne Mickel Lemons will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Nazareth Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Serenity Gardens. Viewing is from 1:00-10:00 today at the funeral home. Mrs. Lemons will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Mrs. Lemons went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, November 5, 2009, surrounded by her loving family . Born in Georgetown, SC, she was the daughter of Lorenzo Mickel and Patricia Green (James) Brown; and the widow of Ryan A. Lemons.
 
“TC,” as she was affectionately called, was educated in Richland Two schools and graduated from Richland Northeast High School. A former model with Modern Brides in New York, she was founder and owner of Inner Beauty Productions L.L.C. Modeling Agency. Mrs. Lemons was a devoted member of Final Authority Christian Church.
 
Surviving are her children, Rashad, Curtis, Jade, Hannah, Gabrielle, Marquel, Tamara, Adrian and Shanta; her parents, Patricia (James) Brown and Lorenzo Mickel; siblings, Reginald, Lorenzo II (Senica) and Brice, Dwayne, Tania and Kimberly; paternal grandmother, Martha Geathers; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and friends.
