Edward Stanislawski - Class Of 1982

West Palm Beach, FL- Edwin "Eddie" Harrison Stanislawski, 49, of West Palm Beach originally from Columbus, GA, passed away due to a severe head injury on February 11, 2013 at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital.
Eddie was born July 1, 1963 in Elyria, Ohio to Lois Sullivan and Franklin Stanislawski, Sr. He was a graduate of Baker High School, class of 1982 and Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Following graduation Eddie served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War and Desert Storm. Eddie retired after serving our country for 21 years as a First Sergeant. During his years as a decorated soldier he received many medals as followed; Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 3, Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Retired Lapel Pin, Expert Rifle Badge, Sharp Shooter Badge, and Air Assault Badge.
Eddie was currently employed with the Army Corps of Engineers as a Constructions Developer for the past 8 years. His passion was spending time with his family and friends along with days at the golf course with his loving wife, Melissa, and summers on the boat with family and friends.
In addition to his father, Franklin Stanislawski, he is preceded in death by his step-father Kark D. Sullivan.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife Melissa (Screen) Stanislawski; two sons, Edwin H. Stanislawski (Joanna) and Cody R. Stanislawski all of Columbus, GA; three stepchildren, Miranda Dixon, Jason Screen, Mackenzey McDonald all of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, Harrison and Natalie Stanislawski of Columbus, GA, and Haven and Brogden Dixon of Savannah, GA; one sister, Renee (Robert) McAneny of Columbus, HA; two brothers, Michael Stanislawski (Diane) of Fortson, GA and Franklin Stanislawski, Jr., (Chanda) of Columbus, GA; several nieces and nephews.
