Pamela Alexander January 22, 1957 - November 27, 2018 Columbus, GA- Pamela Alexander, 61, of Fortson, GA, passed away on November 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at Mount Zion Church, on November 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Waldorf officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. and burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jay Alexander; children, K.B. Howe (Beth), Cindy Plemons, and Amanda Alexander; grandchildren, Lexi Vandel (Ryan), Angelina Plemons, Trey Plemons and Harrison Howe; brothers, Ron Nix (Belinda), and Gary Nix (Cathy); and sister, Sharon Dolliver (Sam). She is preceded in death by her parents James A. Nix, Jr. and Carolyn Conway Nix. She was a member of Cascade Hills Church. She was a beloved pre-school teacher at St. Mark Methodist Church and loved working with children and horses at Storybook Farms.
