Columbus, GA- Brenda Woodward Tolliver passed Saturday, January 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Greater Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church 1330 Talbotton Road Columbus, GA. with Rev. Terrence Evans, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Porterdale Cemetery according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC 2919 Hamilton Road Columbus, GA. Visitation will be today, Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Tolliver was born April 24, 1943 to Rev. Thomas and Ozie Woodward in Columbus, GA. She was a 1961 graduate of Spencer High School and a retired educator in the Muscogee County School System with over 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Crystal Woodward. Brenda leaves to cherish her precious memories; one son, Victor Woodward; two daughters, Donna Chambers and Tisha Tolliver; 7 grandchildren, Duntaurus, Ebony, Derrick, Whitney, Darryl, Devontae and Deneysha; one sister, Helen Brown; 2 loving and devoted friends, Christine Dennison and Betty Stephens; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
