Columbus, GA- Mrs. Mildred L. Crawford passed away Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital at the age of 83.
The beloved daughter of Tommie T. and Mary Farley Norah, Mrs. Crawford was a native of Columbus, GA who was a 1952 graduate of the William H. Spencer High School. She obtained an Associates degree from Columbus State University, and was employed as a para professional with the Muscogee County School District for over 25 years. Her final tenure was at St. Mary's Magnet Academy. She was a member of Rosehill Memorial Baptist Church and the Poinsettias Social Club. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry B. Crawford and Willis L. Hinton, a son, Rodney Crawford and brothers, Tommie L., Donald and Gunzell Norah.
Survivors include: two sons, Reginald Q. Crawford (Sharon) and Anthony Crawford (Gisela); seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Gracie P. Norah Parkman and Patricia A. Norah; loving in-laws, Betty Norah, Ora Norah, Christine Norah, Geraldine Battle Norah and James T. Crawford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Crawford will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12 noon at the Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church with interment in Green Acres Cemetery.
