CONCORD James "Jimmy" Monroe Fleming Jr., 51, of Malvern Drive SW in Concord, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, at his residence. He was born Sept. 6, 1967, in Cabarrus County to James M. Fleming Sr. and the late Peggy Ann Freeman Fleming. Jimmy was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He was formerly employed at Kids Behavioral Health Services and attended Grace Lutheran Church. Services will be held Monday, Dec. 17, at Kitty N. Sanson Chapel, Barber Scotia College, 145 Cabarrus Ave. W in Concord. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m., with funeral services at 1 p.m. Those left to cherish fond memories include one daughter, Lee Ann Ashley Fleming of Concord; one son, James M. Fleming III of Concord; two grandchildren, Harper P. Rose Fleming of Concord, Kharmin Crowder of Concord; father, James M. Fleming Sr. of Concord; one sister, Ann Freeman Fleming of Concord; fiancée, Shenita Bost of Concord; two aunts, Lurlene Walker (Anthony) of Concord, Erma McGimpsey of Morganton; one uncle, Robert Freeman (Emily) of Concord; one nephew, David T. Russell III of Concord, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
