July 28, 1967 - August 8, 2014

Kathryn "Kathy" Rudisill Bowen, 47, of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014.

She was born in Iredell County on July 28, 1967 to Robert and Sheila Rudisill. 

She was a loving mother and daughter. But she was more than a mother to her children and more than just a daughter to her parents. She was courageous, thriving, independent, hard working, gentle, loving, wild and joyful. There are twenty-six letters in the alphabet and we still can't find the words to describe how amazing she was. Kathy was an inspiration to all and will forever live on in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Ashley; son, Jacob; brother, Rudy and wife, Gayle; a number of nieces and nephews including Amy and Jason Holt, Kristy and Jeff Conaway, Jamie and Jody Overby and Robin and Adam Hooper.
