Does anyone know what happened to Libby Gayle. I was sad to see she was listed as "in memory."

I remember seeing her obituary in the Independent Tribune a couple years ago.  As I recall it mentioned she had been in declining health for several years.  I remember in elementary school she had juvenile diabetes so I think that may have been what caused her health problems later on.

Yes, I had Libby's adopted daughter, Ashley, in my 1st grade class.  Libby and I had become very close friends again.  She volunteered all the time.  She did have diabetes, but was doing well.  I don't know the exact year, but she had had a heart attack earlier in life.  Libby was at home and had a heart attack.  It was very unexpected.  Her family comments on how lucky they were to have her as long as they did.  She was a wonderful woman and loved her children dearly.  Her oldest daughter is Amber.  I do miss her lots.
