Comments:

What a life it has been. Been around the world a few seperate times to say the least and seen countless cities that I would probably never have seen without being in the Navy.

As of the fall of 2009 I have been in the Navy for almost 22 years; June 2010 will be the 22 year mark for me.

Currently enrolled in University of Maryland distance program trying to pursue a degree in Information Assurance. Who knows when I will finish that one.

Been in Coronado, Ca since late 2006 and currently stationed on USS San Diego (LPD 22) as the Combat Systems Communications Leading Chief.

My wife Kellie and I have been married going on 14 wonderful years.

School Story:

Wow wherever to start. I remember moving to Marblemount in 1984 from Seattle and thought OMG I am on another planet. That must be the culture shock part from moving out of the City.

My freshman year how could I ever forget the initial realization that I had some twin named Todd Torgeson that was a Senior that year. Well the year turned out great and I even managed to play (or should I say stand on the sidelines) for the football team. That year was a blast and seeing that Conrete town pull behind the football team was absolutely the greatest site to see. That would occur for the next 3 years.

Living in Marblemount was truely the best, it was like a jewel that everyone forgot about. The times spent hanging out with Chad Allen, Jeff Stafford, John Hafferkamp (Newhalem), and Mike Duvarney were some of the greatest memories. Mike just seemed to have this mounting fascination with people from the 60's.

Unfortunately I had to leave after my Junior year and will always miss the fact that I did not get to graduate with the greastest group of people ever. It seems that whenever I make it back to Washington during travels, I always make it a point to go back up the Skagit and visit the best place on earth. One of these years, probably the 30 year I will finally be retired from the U.S. Navy and will be able to finally make a class reunion.
