I also wasn't aware that he had passed. My mom did daycare when I was a kid, and Jake and his brother, Brandon were two of the kids that she watched. I think, though my memory of those years is a bit foggy, having been so long ago, that Jake's parents babysat my brother, Adam and I a few times as well...though I could be mistaken on that. Anyway...I wasn't exactly friends with him in school, but remember he always seemed very confident, and had sort-of a subtle sense of humor...traits I always admired in him. He had qualities that could've led him to great success. It's a shame we lost him so soon. He'll be sorely missed.
Jacob Sees a.k.a To Close Friends "Shitbrick" (Inside Joke) He was a smooth talker, could make anyone believe whatever he wanted and it was a pretty sure bet that he could get you do do whatever he wanted to :) Jake was always there whenever either one of us needed to talk, didn't matter what it was or what time of night. He wasn't just a best friend but a brother. We had countless good times together. He loved his kids more than words can say and is dearly missed not just by them but by all his friends and family that loved him dearly too. As he would always end every conversation "Good Talk", we miss you Jake!! Love, Nick and Estee'
Watching "Tombstone" will never be the same with out you. You'll always be my huckleberry. Love ya Jake, Estee'
Jacob and I were good friends growing up. I remember going over to his all the time when we were in Milner Crest. When those days past, I can't really remember what happened between us or why were weren't very close friends anymore, but I'll tell you it saddens me to see that he's passed away. I remember at graduation seeing him show up for rehearsal and thinking, "Where have you been all these years?!"
I remember him. Cool kid. I read all the stories about him smooth talking and such. I remember our fish and wildlife teacher used to call him silver tongue. So sad that he passed...I pray for his family and those close to him.

I talked to Brandon right around the time that Jake passed. It was a GI bleed. Very sad to lose someone at such a young age.Jennifer (Levy) Aldrich
