She was an excellent nurse that had unbelievable compassion for humanity. She was an excellent mother and did the best she could with the circumstances she was given. She lived the fullest life possible considering her childhood scars. She taught me how to twirl the baton and speed shift, how to make the best gravy and sweet tea. She taught me that you only go around once so make it count. I've learned that for some, happiness is merely a decision and for others, it's buried under things you just can't seem to work through. The class of 1969 was so dear to my mom. I hate she can't be there to talk about the good times. I leave you with a verse that comforts me until I can see for myself..."For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord"...not even suicide. God bless each of you. -Amanda Lynn Vickers

Yes we will all miss Lynn at this reunion. She always spoke to me and I remember taking our senior class trip to St Louis and how much fun she was.

I remember Lynn was one of the verry few girls that would speak to me in high school. I could count the girls that ever spoke to me in school on one hand and not use all my fingers. Lynn stopped in her car one time an aks if I wanted a ride. She is and was a very special person and I will always remember her kindness.
