Lodging for the Reunion?
Posted Thursday, April 30, 2009 12:11 PM

Im wondering where other classmates are thinking of staying the weekend of the reunion? Downtown or Padre? Any suggestions on good places? I have not stayed in downtown area in forever- but I know there are a lot of new things down there. Is there something between Brewsters and the Ortiz center?

Hi Erin,

My family will be heading to the coast the weekend before the reunion and staying in Port Aransas. Our family has a condo out there.

We will probably stay there through the reunion weekend.

Warm regards,

Alex

We're staying at the Omni for the weekend.  Seemed like a good spot and the rates were reasonable.

We decided on N Padre...its a drive but since we are going before and staying a day later, we thought it would be more of a "vacation" spot...

Hello all.  We are down to the final week of the Reunion.   I have a friend at the brand new Red Roof in on buffalo st. in corpus who has agreed to offer rooms at a discounted rate for our reunion weekend if anyone still needs a place to stay.

The Red Roof inn is right off 1-37 near the hector P Garcia post office.   It is gated and very nice.   It is located approximately 4 minutes away from the ortiz Center.

Basic Room Rate:  $65 per night.   The Normal rate is like 119.00 for this time of year.  Must mention King High 20 yr reunion.   Contact person:  John Garcia, GM.  361. 888-7663

Hopefull this was helpful to anyone who needs lodging last minute.   Hope to see everyone this weekend,  Sergio Perez.
