Larry, came into my life by accident during the Christmas break of 1986. I was a Sophmore and shopping at the mall with my MOM,DAD,& Sister on a Friday night. Yeah really cool. I came across Larry,Liza Stevens, Mario Gonzalez,Manuel Sanchez, and Cissy Garcia. Larry laughed at me and asked who was my hot date...my dad. The next thing you know I'm off in Mario's old baby blue beater with all the gang to "GoatMan's Bluff". I had the time of my life laughing like I didn't know I could.
Larry became a staple in my daily life as of then.Living life with that much enthusiasm and zest helped shape my character.
I owe alot of overcoming mundane things through laughter as a result of loving Larry. I have told my children of this wonderful spirit who made mom the loud speaker they know. I also remind them to be themselves and love themselves for it.
We remember him in prayer through the rosary. I ask for Our Blessed Mother to keep him close by until I can rejoin him in thunderous laughter in Heaven.
I hear his laughter clearly especially through my toughest of days. I can almost hear him say,"Don't be such a tapada the answer is right there. AGGHHHH!!!"
My memories of Larry have no measure and no price. They are precious.
