Michael Hadley Howald, 65, passed away Friday July 15, 2005. He was a member of Pipefitter/Plumbers Union for 40 years, veteran of U.S. Army.
Survived by wife, Gloria Jean; daughter, Kathrine Olszewski (Daniel); son, James Michael Howald (Brandi); six grandchildren: Evan, Michael, Marshall, Christopher, Mercedes and Brandon. Also two brothers, Rodney (Nancy) Howald of Sugarland, Joel Carter (Jeanne) Howald of Florida.
Michael donated his body to science-UT Health & Science Center of San Antonio.
His family will miss him greatly as will his friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society National Foundation of Arthritis, or Christus Spohn Health System or a charity of your choice.
A memorial will be held later.

I loved the Howald family so much. I remember Mike well. I am sorry to learn of his passing. I hope Carter can see this posting and know that I think of him often as well. Carter, I am so sorry. I know you were proud of him.Lovingly,
