Brenda Suzanne “Sue” Mulholland

Brenda Suzanne “Sue” Mulholland, 75, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2016. She was surrounded by loved ones as she transitioned from her Earthly home to her Heavenly home.   Sue was born on May 21, 1941 in Corpus Christi to Kathryn Lawrence Marshall and John Marshall.  She graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1959.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband of ten years, William Mulholland, and both parents.  She is survived by her sister, Janice O’Neal, and husband, Mike O’Neal; son, William Grimm and wife, Catherine Grimm; daughter, Sami Paradeaux and husband, Slade Paradeaux; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; one niece; and one nephew.

Sue loved the Lord and lived her life as an example to others.  She appreciated the simple things and never passed up an opportunity to visit and converse with those around her. She blessed her friends and family by sharing words from her daily devotional, pointing out the beauty of nature, telling stories, and playing board games.  She had a gift of tending to the elderly and spent much of her life helping others.  

A celebration of life service in her honor will be held on January 28, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm at the Lockhart State Park hill top cabin in Lockhart, TX.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
