Louis Adolph Peetz who at the age of 66 entered eternal rest on Monday, March 4, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born on November 1, 1940 in Corpus Christii, Texas to F.A. Peetz and Marie Duffard Peetz. Louis was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School and two year Business Administration at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. He had a 25 year career in sales of pressure valves for Refineries in the South Texas area. Louis owned a fishing cabin on the Intercoastal Canal, and over the years he earned a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable fishermen in the Baffin Bay area. He served in the Army Reserves for seven years. Louis was a member of the United Methodist Church in Kerrville. He is preceded in death by his father, F.A. Peetz.
Louis is survived by his children, Rick Peetz and wife Lorie of Corpus Christi, Texas and Lana Clay and husband Brad of Austin, Texas; mother, Marie Whitehouse of Kerrville, Texas; sister, Caroline Carabafal of Kerrville, Texas; five grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him and will miss him.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Bay Area Fellowship Church in Corpus Christi (8001 South Padre Island Dr.) with Pastor Brian Crown officiating the services.
