What a precious friend she was. We would spend the night at my home frequently. We snuck out one night and went to Pick''s Drive-In, where everyone hung out. When we got back home, my next-door neighbor had placed our garbage in the middle of our driveway. His name was Tom Douglas. He was hoping I would hit it pulling in the driveway. Karen and I laughed about that a lot. I also remember many slumber parties with her. One night in particular, we were almost asleep and I heard a funny noise. It was Karen, sucking her throat because it was itching. My daughter does that too. Karen, I will also remember you until I have no memory at all.

You are in Heaven now and I know this from the bottom of my heart.

Your friend, Anita
