Kathy was my best friend my junior and senior year. Probably because we were always in home room together. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1969. She married and quickly divorced one man in 1970 and after that we lost touch. I hooked up with her in approximately 1974. She was married to a man named Jack Lacey. They were living in West Covina right off Workman near Citrus. She had no children. Approximately 15 years later I found out that she had died of brain cancer. She never had any children. It was very sad for me to hear that and regretted that we were never able to strike up the same bond we had in high school.
