I first met Charlene in the 1st grade and we were buddies at recess. I loved her long hair. I developed a crush on her in 5th or 6th grade which lasted through to our graduation from high school. I was shy and afraid to talk to her so she never knew. She was a cheerleader and seemed to have lots of friends. I'm glad for that. I hoped to find her name as one of the people attending this year's reunion. I was very sad to find her name on this memory list. I hope she had a wonderful life.
While searching the net, I surprisingly read that Charlene had passed. I was very saddened to learn the news. Her sister and I were very close and I had fond memories of her. May her soul and her family always be blessed and that she be remembered as a wonderful person.
