This was an update from Barbara Capps, Jimmy’s wife.
My Brother In Law; Melvin; brought to my attention that I have not placed the family in his Obituary. I was so intense on getting his history right to honor him; that I did not think to. Jim married a ready made family; we have no biological children; but to my children and to me;and to him; he is their true father. Jim loved children and he very much wanted to be a father. He adopted James; but Mary wanted to keep her families name; but to her he is her father. So his true children's names are; Mary Ann Kennedy; age 43; Teacher and James Phillip Capps; age 39, Graphic Artist. Thank you; Barbara
See below the picture his wife Barbara made and the commette she made.

"Who Say's Army Can't Get Along With Air Force?
The LTC and the A1C have been friends for 32 Years.
Veteran's Day and The Fourth Of July were always fun.
When called to stand if served, we stood together; surprising many!
I'd salute him at times just for fun". — with James H. Capps.
