Obituary

Jack Vincent Haney, 75, died the 10th of December 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia after a year-long battle with cancer.

Mr. Haney was born August 12, 1943 in Spokane, Washington. His parents were Gwendolyn and James Haney. He graduated from Newton County High School in 1962. He served in the Air Force in Mountain Home, Idaho until his discharge in 1967.

Jack resided for approximately 20 years in Conyers, Georgia. He retired from Southern Cross Corporation and has lived in Doraville, Georgia for the last 25 years.

Jack is survived in death by his son Jim Haney, daughter in law, Bonnie and granddaughters, Clare and Caroline Haney; Son Ken Haney, daughter in law Allison, grandsons, Taylor and Everett Haney, granddaughter Kenlee Haney and great granddaughter Cydney Haney;
Daughter Angela Haney, grandson Baily Owens and granddaughter Emma Owens; Sister Delores Higgins, brother in law Pat Higgins, Nephews John Higgins, T.J Higgins, Aunt Lossalie Phipps, Uncles Bobby Phipps, Kenneth Johnston, and his cousin Kim Carter.

He requested that in lieu of a funeral, a family life celebration be held in the near future. Jack will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
