CULLODEN - Betty Ann Harris died Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Friday, February 6, 2009 at Forsyth United Methodist Church with burial in Salem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Knoxville, Georgia, Crawford County. Reverend James Warbington, Reverend Dexter Wiggins and Reverend David T. Scott will officiate. 

Mrs. Harris, the daughter of the late Dallas and Edith Agnes Clay Maddox was born December 25, 1943 in Covington, Georgia. She was retired from the State of Georgia with thirty-two years of service. Mrs. Harris was the assistant director for the Regional Youth Development Center in Griffin. She was a member and Past Grand Matron of the Griffin Moose Lodge #1503, a member and President of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Post 658, in Macon and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Griffin Kiwanis Club. She was a member and song leader at Salem Primitive Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, W. F. "Billy" Harris of Culloden; children, Tracy and Walter Barr of McDonough, Doug and Jennifer Wiggins of Griffin, Reverend Anthony Dexter and Tina Wiggins, Jr. of Griffin, Tiffiny Wiggins of Hampton; stepchildren, W. Fred Harris, Jr. of Culloden, Patsy and Phil Andrew of Culloden, Bob and Laurie Harris of Forsyth and Johnny and Lisa Harris of Barnesville; sister, Lorine Plunkett of Porterdale; brothers, D. L. Maddox of Covington and R. A. Maddox of Oxford; seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
