Steven D. Brock, 34, Crawfordsville, died 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Nucor Steel. Mr. Brock had been employed as a switchman for Nucor's internal rail system. He previously owned Prolawn at Crawfordsville and worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. He was a 1986 Crawfordsville High School graduate and attended Purdue University. His memberships included Ben Hur Speedway. He was born April 21, 1968, at Frankfort, to Malcolm and Vickie Thomas Dick. He married Jennifer Flick on July 21, 1990, at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are his parents of Linden; a son, Riley Steven, at home; a daughter, Chandler Elaine, at home; two half sisters, Dawn Fields, Lebanon, and Nikkia R. Dick, Lawrenceburg, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Lottie A. Cole, Crawfordsville; and great-grandfather, James R. Glover. His paternal grandfather, Elmer S. Dick, maternal grandparents, Lyle Duane Thomas and Shirley Gosnell, are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery South. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
