Houston Diers

Houston Diers, 24, of Creston died Nov. 4, 2004, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., from complications of a motorcycle accident. Services were held on Monday, Nov. 8, at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave. The Rev. Mark Woldruff officiated the service. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery at Creston. Memorials may be directed to the family.  Houston was the son of Linda K. (Ford) and Harold L. Diers, and was born Dec. 19, 1979, in Creston. He graduated from Creston High School in 1999. He worked for Bunn-O-Matic the past three years of his life and previously for Midwestern Diskette and Trolli. He lived in Creston all of his life. Survivors include his parents Harold and Linda Diers of Creston; a half brother Tom Diers of Springfield, Mo.; a sister Amanda (husband Joe) Corderman of Creston; three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lorraine Ford and L.W. and Marjory Diers.
