I feel so saddened reading about Mike's death. While we had some contact in junior and senior high school, I remember him as "Quinnie" before he became "Zeke". I remember when as my sixth grade boyfriend he asked me whether I wanted him to be "collegiate" or "hoody". I think I said - or would like to remember having said - that I wanted hiom to be how and who he wanted to be. I remember a party that year at his house or was it at his uncle's who was the director of transportation at JJ for years, and we got caught by said uncle for a smootch on the stair case. But what I remember most of all through those formative years was a very sweet, gentle, kind person. I couldn't have mistaken him for anything else.
