I was terribly saddened to hear about Jim's passing....

Jim was unlike no other classmate that I knew of when in HS.  He had a heart as big as the all outdoors, always willing to help anyone who needed it.  A positive attitude and a large wide grin added to his warmth.  It is too bad that many of us never appreciated those human traits when we were teenagers.

I know Jim will be missed by all that knew him.  He already is ....

I'll remember Jim

Always with a smile,

Always with a story.

Never any anger.

But on the football field,

Stay out of his way!

Jim Behrens - my very first boyfriend...in fact my first kiss on the front porch at 35 N.Caroline. We both had a love for the country since I grew up on a farm in the country and I don't remember why I recall Jim seemed to have a connection to farming. It was so cool that he was on Varsity football as a freshman at CLCHS. My sister Claire Fruin Ross had sent me a note about Jim's passing. My sympathies to Jim's family. I sure he is missed.

Jim and his sons all had an interest and and involvement in farming. He was the gentlest soul you could ever meet. My daughter was married to one of his sons. Such a loss.
