Maryann Donner (Sexton)

Maryann Donner (Sexton)

It is with the deepest sadness and regret that I have to let you all know that Maryann Donner Sexton lost her battle with cancer yesterday.  I don't know any details yet, but I do know that she was surrounded by her loving family.  Her beautiful smile will be shining down on all of those she loves.

Another sad loss.  Maryann and I worked close to each other during high school.  While I worked at Woolworth's, she worked at the more fashionable women's store a few doors down.  It broke my heart to hear of her suffering.  Maryann will be missed by many of us.  Loved her winning smile, even through her sickness!

Maryann was always so positive and upbeat.  So sad to lose another classmate to cancer.  My sympathy and thoughts and prayers to her family.

So sad to hear of Maryann's passing. Her beautiful smile grew more beautiful through the years. Although I only saw her at our reunions, I always enjoyed our visits. I pray for comfort for her family.-Terri Hibbard

Here we are, the class of 65, grieving the loss of another classmate. Little did we know back then what a precious gift each of us are to our families. To Maryann's family, let all those wonderful memories of her keep you strong through this challenging time.

Bless you all and remember her when all her beautiful gardens continue to bloom.

I wonder how many people have the comfort in knowing that, after 50 years, their high school classmates will grieve for them at their passing.  It is an amazing testament to us, the Class of '65.  Bless you Maryann and your beautiful gardens.  And thank you to Arleen who has the hard task of letting us know.

I am shocked and saddened to hear about Maryann.  She was a very good friend as we were in choir together for three years.  She had a gorgeous smile and a beautiful voice.  I think everyone in the school noticed her when she starred in "Kiss Me Kate".  So difficult to know that she was so ill.  She will be missed by all I am sure. Nice that she had so many children and grandchildren.

Very saddened to hear about Maryann.  As so many of us, we grew up together and Maryann was always a smiling & friendly face.  My thoughts & prayers go out to her family.
