So sad to hear of Chuck's passing. He and his wife Donna were dear friends, truly good people who always looked for the best in others. Her passing in 2021 was especially hard on him but his children and grandkids were his life support. I remember that he lost his house due to the Palm Sunday tornado blowing it away, leaving only the bare wood of the floor covering the basement where his Dad and brother were sheltered. They were alerted to the tornado by his German shepherd who had been whining by the screen door. When Chuck's Dad went to investigate, he saw the tornado closing in. Fortunately they were unhurt, and Mom and Chuck weren't home, but the loss was devastating. I'm sure we all will never forget that day! God bless you Chuck!
